Our most frequently asked question is, “Are you a Christian company?”

Yes, we are!  Let It Shine was founded by a group of women who love God and the Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore our company is based on Christian values, which includes a heart of service by all of our team members.


 Our next most frequently asked question is “What are you using on my wood floor?!”

We love getting this question from our happy clients.  Our floor cleaner is a specially formulated cleaner for all types of floors, and it is green seal certified.  It does an especially outstanding job on wood floors and will leave your clean floor with a beautiful touch of shine.  Who would have thought a green cleaner could leave your floors looking so good?


Do I need to be home during my scheduled cleaning?

No, it is not required that you be home during your cleaning.  Some of our clients prefer to be home while we are there, and some just love returning home from a long day at work to find their house fresh and clean.  It is entirely up to you.


 Can I change my scheduled cleaning?

Of course!  We are always happy to work with our clients on their schedules and will do everything we can to accommodate changes and special requests.  We often receive calls from clients who say, “I have company coming!  Can you help?”   Just give us a call or text us at 509-443-7097 and we will gladly rework your schedule with you.  We do ask that you call us a minimum of 24 hours before your scheduled cleaning to avoid a cancellation fee.


What happens if I forget about my cleaning?

If we are locked out at the time of your scheduled service you will be charged a lock-out fee.  To avoid this from happening many clients provide us with a key or a garage code.


 How do you determine the cost?

We charge on an hourly basis and will agree upon a set amount of time and cost before we clean your home.  We offer a free estimate, in which we will come to your home and walk through it with you.  At that time we will ask you about your cleaning preferences and evaluate how long your cleaning will take.  We will never go longer than we quote without your approval.


 Do you accept credit cards?

At this time we do not accept credit cards.  The reason for this is to keep our prices at a lower rate, which has been appreciated by our customers.  Credit card companies charge steep fees for card processing, so we have opted to ask for a check at the time of service.  We also offer terms for clients who have established a history with us.


Can you use different products?

Most of our clients love the products we provide, but we are happy to make a change if you have a special request.   We just ask that you provide the alternate product for your cleaning.  Please keep in mind that for the health of your family and also for that of our cleaners, we like to avoid using harsh chemicals as much as possible.


 What should I do with my pets?

We love pets, and we do not mind them being home while we clean.  If they are overly rambunctious we do ask that you keep them in a room that will not be cleaned.  Please make sure to provide us with any information you want us to know about your pets, such as where they should be when we leave.


 Will I have the same cleaners at every cleaning?

We do the best we can to send the same cleaners every time, but this is not always guaranteed.   We have many details to work through when scheduling, which at times includes vacations and various appointments for our cleaners.  All of our cleaners have the same high standards and are backed by our 100% cleaning guarantee, so you can always be assured that no matter which of us does the job, your house will shine every time.


How can you guarantee not to break anything?

Unfortunately, we can’t.  Our cleaners are very careful and meticulous, but every once in a while an accident does occur.  We carry insurance in case of a mishap, along with our sincerest apologies because we are extremely concerned about taking the best care of your home.  If you do have a breakable item that is irreplaceable or of great value, please place it in a drawer or closed cabinet or instruct us not to touch it.
