Cleaning Terms, Conditions, and Policies

•    There are no terms for the length of the agreement with our cleaning services. The customer may cancel their scheduled services at any time, for any reason. Likewise, Let It Shine Services may cancel at any time.

• If the agreed upon services take longer than what Let It Shine Services originally quoted, the customer will be contacted to discuss price or service revisions. If the customer wants Let It Shine Services to finish the cleaning, an invoice will be left for the additional amount and it is to be paid within 10 days or at the next scheduled cleaning.

• Let It Shine Services reserves the right to reevaluate our rates at any time. Customers will be contacted before their scheduled service to inform them of a change of rates.

• If a customer needs to change a cleaning day or time Let It Shine Services will work with them and do our best to arrange a new time that works with their schedule. Let It Shine Services must be notified of the cancellation or reschedule at least 24-hours in advance. There is a $35 cancelation/reschedule fee if Let It Shine Services is not notified at least 24 hours in advance.

• There is a $35 lock-out fee if Let It Shine Services is unable to gain access of a client’s home, office, or building through no fault of ours.

• Payment is due at the time of service in the form of cash, check or money order unless other arrangements have been made prior to time of service.

• There is a $25 fee for any check that is returned by a customer’s bank. If the bank is in error, they should reimburse the individual for this expense. There is a $75 fee, plus any attorney’s fees, in addition to the balance due, for any account we must refer to collections.

• If in the agreement that is signed by a customer, we are specifically requested to dust or clean any electronics, computer equipment, or the inside of a hutch or china cabinet, the customer agrees not to hold Let It Shine Services responsible for damage to any article or piece of equipment.

• We are a very responsible cleaning service and we are extra careful not to break or damage anything while we clean. However, at times accidents happen. (For this reason we have general liability coverage with a national insurance company. If you would like more information about our insurance coverage and policy, please contact us and we will provide you with the information that you need.) Identical replacement is always attempted, but it is not guaranteed. We request that all irreplaceable items (whether sentimentally or monetarily valuable) be stored and/or not cleaned by our staff. Let It Shine Services must be notified within 48 hours of service if a customer should find that something is damaged.

• Let It Shine Services is not held responsible for damage of items due to improper installation. It is assumed that all surfaces and fixtures are sealed and ready to clean without causing harm.

• The safety of our staff is very important to us. Therefore, all firearms must be stored and locked during scheduled cleaning times.

• Let It Shine Services may change the Terms and Policies at our discretion with reasonable notice to the customer.
